Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2nd, 1981) is an South African actress, model and television personality. After beginning her acting career with The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her next role playing Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on a number of shows over the last decade which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt started her role as Mazikeen (the part that was played by Tom Ellis Lauren German, and Kevin Alejandro) in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer from the year 2016. Brandt was born at Cape Town South Africa. As she was in her teens, she relocated into Auckland New Zealand along with her parents and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career with ads and commercials. Prior to when she became a successful model She worked as a salesperson in retail as well as a consultant in recruitment for information technology. In 2009 she was cast on the New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In 2021, she starred in Spartacus Blood and Sand as a young slave girl named Naevia. Naevia's role was also reprised by her in the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star on three different TV shows which include Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) as well as Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began to play an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen in the Netflix series Lucifer. She has played her the most significant role to now. The series features Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside as well as D. B. Woodside.
